Walk Across the Floor First
Before you fly through the box, walk along the floor. The bottom face is a rectangle 3 × 4. The diagonal across it is a simple 2D Pythagoras problem.
Formula In Action
f² = 3² + 4² = 9 + 16 = 25
f = √25 = 5.0000
Key Formula
a² + b² = c² (2D floor)
Panel C · Dynamic Solver
STEP 1Identify the floor rectangle: 3 × 4
STEP 2Apply Pythagoras: f² = 3² + 4² = 9 + 16 = 25
RESULTf = √25 = 5.0000
Nice! This is a Pythagorean triple: 3, 4, 5
