📍 Context: Directed Numbers

In the real world, numbers have direction. Temperature drops below 0°C. Divers go below sea level.

Current Position:

The diver is at 0m

At sea level (zero)

⚠️ Examiner Trap!

Don't confuse "distance from zero" with the actual value. Distance is always positive!

Example: -50m is 50 units away from 0.

Try This:

• Set depth to -30m, then +20m

• Calculate: What's the difference?

Answer: 20 - (-30) = 50m

Dynamic Solver

STEP 1: Identify Position
Current depth = 0m
STEP 2: Calculate Distance from Zero
|0| = 0m
STEP 3: Example Calculation

If diver moves from 0m to 0m:

Change = 0 - (0)

Change = 0m

KEY FORMULA:
Difference = Final - Initial
